Hi all! I took Hope to a pediatric eye specialist recommended by her optic oncologist since the neuro- ophthalmologist won’t see her until age 12. He was great and actually one of the first to actually agree that her vision issues are probably a direct result of the Chiari, which was very refreshing. He also mentioned IIH and recommended that I ask her neurologist about testing for it ( which I actually had in my notes). He mentioned also having an MRV to check her transveinus (I think that is the correct word) sinus in her brain. Is anyone else familiar with this test? I have to admit that I have not heard of it before. Thank you in advance for any information you can share.
Hi I had an mrv a few moths ago, it’s just like an mri but it Basically takes images of the veins in your brain to see if they’ve narrowed (I think that’s right) Xxx
