Confusion about Severity of Chiari

Herniation has increased from 4mm to 8mm in 2yrs but was just told because the reports show no blockage they are not concerned. Does this lack of blockage take away from the size, even if I have ongoing symptoms and issues that can’t otherwise be explained?

I asked and he said my case is complicated and because there is no blockage it isn’t a red flag for him. Feels like I’m getting the run arounds…

It was my understanding that the herniation progressed because of pressure forcing the brain down so that in itself should be reason for treatment. I'd see about a second opinion. :(

See a chiari specialist. I was told by a neurosurgeon that I don’t have a blockage. Another opinion from a surgeon who specializes in chiari confirmed what I felt to be true… There is indeed a blockage
