Alexis' Chiari Surgery 3-14-2011

Chiari ~ a decompression surgery. This consists of a craniectomy, a laminectomy, and a duraplasty.

My daughter is a Chiari and Syringomyelia survivor.
Her battle is just beginning. But she is strong and will get through this at the tender age of 8.

Some times I wonder if being the mother is worse... I pray her journey is as easy as it can be. It looks like she has a great support system!

I'm scared to death. After seeing this video, it's given me some courage to say if this little sweetie can do it, I can.
