Hi, Christina! I live in Matthews! We're neighbors! My NS was Dr. John Sampson at Duke Medical in Durham. We do not have a Chiari specialist any closer. I email or call his nurse practitioner often. If you need a good primary doctor that knows allot about Chiari I see Dr. Bridges at Pine Lake Family Practice.

Hi Christina. Welcome to the NC group! We are all where u are and know what we have experienced and hopefully can help u along your journey! I had surgery in 03 but still have pain control issues esp on days like today when storms r headed this way. Ask anything u need to ask. Someone will try to answer. We of course don't have all the answers because there doesn't seem to be a lot of consistent answers out there but we can share our experiences n sometimes it helps just to know you r not alone!

Hello to you guys.  I live in Weddington NC which is in Union county, just outside of Charlotte.  I just joined today and am looking for some help and support for people who understand what I am going thru.  Unless you are living it, with all of the crazy symptoms and ups and downs, it's hard to understand.
