Hi Michigan Chiarians! I received an e-mail regarding organizing a walk, and I'm wondering if any of you would like to join me? Please read:
Hey Everyone -- Welcome to the Michigan Group. How about the weather change today.. I was stuck driving in this storm this evening. it took me an hour to get home... 25 minutes away - straight shot. almost ZERO visibility blowing snow and black ice. That was a treat - I was white knuckled on the steering wheel.
Hi Lori,
I am so sorry to hear about ur house! Hopefullly, they get everything working again very soon! Panic attacks are very scary. Xanax really help during a panic attack. Please relax and rest. It is very important because the panic attacks put alot of stress on your body. For me, the Chiari kicks in horrible for about 3 days after my attack(I cant get out of bed or barley open my eyes cause my head and neck hurt so bad) and stays for about 1-2 weeks. I've been having severe panic attacks since 2006. My panic attacks started 2 months after I had my second son, there were triggered by post pardum depression.
I was at the doctors today and picked up a pamplet asbout panic disorders. It was very informative, in easy to understand language. There are two websites that they referenced: www.nimh.nih.gov and www.adaa.org, How funny, that ive seen this pamplet every time I go to the docs, but never picked it up before. Everything happens for a reason :-)
Please take care :-)
God Bless,
Katrina
I've been struggling with a lot of stress lately. Normally, every day to day stuff doesn't get to me but a series of events have left me drained and I've had my first ever panic attacks. I wasn't even sure what it was because I hadn't had one before. Man that was scary. We thought we were going to have to replace some sewer pipes. two weeks of renting snakes our toilet kept gurgling we finally called a plumber. Thought for sure one of our pipes had collapsed. The brought their snake and the cutter head broke. he said ok man, you got some problems. He put a camera into the trap and he said its something yellow - looks like a wiffle-bat. Nope. Consumers Energy's gas line was ran right through the center of our clay tiled sewer line. What a mess our yard is torn all apart.... everyone is blaming each other.. they are even blaming us for renting a snake trying to clean out a clog from out sewer line, because that damaged their gas line and they could take legal action against us. Then when they were fixing all that they cut our underground phone and modem cables. That took another 4 days to get repaired and new cables ran. Yahoo.. Everything works!!! I was so stressed out during all of this I was prescribed some xanax. I can only take a 1/2 though... It's strong for me - or it does its job I guess. I could just feel the headaches and my clumsiness jumping through the roof.
