ok,

im changing my diet, im going to eat fresh fruit and veges,

have fish and meats,

ive decided that to make changes i have to do, lol not just dream that life can be better,

im also going to walk 3 times a week, i dont want to over do it, so i will do it slowly,

i get out of my body wht i put into it,

I try to walk a little bit each day...plus try to do the wii fit or biggest loser video at my pace, it helps to keep my mind off the pain. but also is helping lose the weight I have gained over the last two yrs.

Carla,

I've been on Weight Watchers for the last few months. I tried it online last year but apparently I am one of those people who need to physically pay them for motivation :) You shouldn't be hungry though. Make sure you are using all your daily points as well as counting any activity points (it allows for more food) and don't be afraid to use your extra points. Water, Water, Water!

Glad to see you all are doing so well. I have been going to the gym for over a week now and am beginning to feel a little better now. Hope you all keep up th good work. I am doing my best, just can't wait to get my arm better. Keep up the great work!!

Doing good on Weight Watchers so far. It's not so bad. I've been hungry a few times, but I know that I will get used to it. I hope that it is something that I can stick too permanently. I hope to get back to the gym when my husband gets home. He is out of town until Saturday. It will be easier for me to get there if he is around to go with me!

Weightwatchers online is a very easy way to keep track of points and what I am eating. I believe it is only $17 a month join online and everything is at your fingertips! So far so good. My husband lost 7 pounds last week and I lost 1.5 pounds. Why is that men lose so much faster than women? Not fair!

Hi everyone! I haven't been too faithful lately! I am starting over this week. My husband and I started weight watchers this week and hopefully together we will learn to eat better. I have to get back to the gym, too. I think my husband is going to go with me when he can. I hope so, it makes it easier if we support each other:) How is everyone else doing?

Hi everyone! Good luck on your goals this week! I was just diagnosed Feb of this year with ACM stage 1 and I'm on 200mg of Topamax daily just to curb the headaches. I haven't had surgery yet and the pain so far is pretty tolerable. I have noticed that when I walk I feel amazing! If it wasn't for needing the necessities I would walk myself into exhaustion daily!! Unfortunately, once I do get home I have to brace myself because within 10 minutes of stopping the headaches come back like a freight train. My neurologist doesn't have an answer for this.

Carla I don't believe it is fully gone. I think my smoking has something to do with it. Remember when I was quitting...? lol in March. I was doing great the first week or so and then well it just went downhill. I went out with friends once and I started smoking a lot when we were at the bar. I smoke a lot when I drink (I don't drink often at all even when I do its like 2-3 drinks at the most) I guess its just habit. So that started me back again. So I need to pick another smoking quit date. Mom is doing it as well. So her and I need to pick the same day that way one isn't smoking in the same room while the other is trying to quit.

My goal this week is to try and work out at least twice.

We have a small fitness room at work that has treadmills and a stationary bike. I'm allowed to use it for free (unfortunately only employees otherwise I could have a friend work out with me) I'm hoping to try and use that one or just go walking around the neighborhood.

Another goal is to completely spring clean my room. Which could work out for 'working out' as I want to clean the room spotless and get rid of crap/organize.
