I know of a neurologist that has dealt with chiari.  Took my daughter there and he was good about medicating for symptoms but didn't get far with anything else seeing as she had PFD on 10/2010.  Was waiting for more time to pass and ended up moving so searching for doctor where we live now.  Here is his contact information  Dr. Wilkin in Schamburg ...630-339-5300

I found one so get pen and paper ready cause here is the info .   Northwestern Hospital in Chicago.  call  1-312-695-8143 that is the office direct phone line they will have you send MRI reports via fax that number is 312-695-4430 included your telephone number on the fax.  From there they will set up an appt with you to get the ball rolling they are neurologists and neurosurgeons all in one spot!!! good luck they just got me going in less then 15hrs since I sent them the fax they called me and set the appt up for April 16th.  Have all info handy when they call you back GOOD LUCK!!!
